Press the drill against processed material. ●
Switch on the rotary hammer drill by pressing the switch button ( ● 6), the power tool mechanism should
operate smoothly and the working tool should not bounce on the processed material surface.
Increase speed when necessary by pressing harder on the switch button ( ● 6).
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the tool from power supply before starting any regulation, maintenance or repair.
Soft brush or compressed air are best for cleaning the rotary hammer drill. ●
Do not clean the rotary hammer drill with water or chemical cleaning agents. ●
Store the rotary hammer drill in a dry place, beyond reach of children. ●
Keep ventilation holes of the motor unobstructed. ●
In case of excessive commutator sparking have the technical condition of carbon brushes of the motor ●
checked by a qualied person.
Entrust replacement of power cord and other repairs only to authorized service workshop. ●
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked motor carbon brushes. Always
replace both carbon brushes at a time.
● Unscrew carbon brush covers (8) (g. E).
Remove used carbon brushes. ●
Remove any carbon dust with compressed air. ●
Insert new carbon brushes (carbon brushes should easily move into brush holders) ( ● g. F).
Fix carbon brush covers ( ● 8).
After the carbon brushes are replaced, start the rotary hammer drill with no load and wait until the
carbon brushes t to the motor commutator. Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a quali-
ed person. Only original parts should be used.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
